"Aimed to determine the level of teachers' involvement in managerial decision making in some selected public elementary schools in Dumaguete City. The respondents were the public school teachers of the 5 elementary schools in Dumaguete City. The researcher utilized a validated questionnaire in gathering data and employed the weighted mean and Spearman Rank Correlation as statistical tools. Result revealed that the extent of teachers' involvement is very high in terms of (i) curriculum and instruction; and (ii) student concerns; high in terms of disciplinary actions; moderate in terms of school policy, rules and regulation; and low in terms of (1) school planning and (ii) school budgeting and income generation. It was also found that the extent of perception of teachers on the benefits of their involvement in managerial decision making is very high on (a) decision making capacity, (b) social and emotional development, and (C) positive relationship. Moreover, the extent of barriers experienced by the teachers that hindered their involvement in decision making is very high in terms of interest, knowledge, and resources and high in terms of teachers and administrators relationship and autocratic leadership style. Furthermore, there is significant relationship between the extent of teachers' involvement in terms of school planning and social and emotional development.
