The purpose of this research study is to identify the negative and positive impacts on the
establishment of the international Airport in Bacong, Negros Oriental to the sustainability
of Tourism. The objectives of this research includes (1) the effects towards the people
living in the Municipality of Bacong, (2) the impacts with regards to the sustainability of
tourism in the Municipality of Bacong, (3) the effects on the environment and natural
resources in the Municipality of Bacong and (4) its economy in the Municipality.
