His commitment to liberal education was unwavering and he made it the hallmark of his administration.
The need for a truly balanced education at the University is obvious today as it was during Sinco's time, and it will continue to be important for as long as the University accepts its primary task of "meeting the human resource development needs of the country." Sinco's ideas were relevant then as they are today, and will continue to be in the future.
