A Pangasinan translation and literary adaptation of Jose Rizal's celebrated novel El Filibusterismo, rendered to make the work more accessible to Pangasinan-speaking readers while preserving the original themes and nationalist spirit of the text. The book portrays the social and political conditions of the Philippines during the Spanish colonial period, exposing injustices, abuses of authority, corruption in government and religion, and the suffering experienced by the Filipino people. Through its characters and narrative, the work reflects Rizal’s advocacy for reform, national consciousness, and the pursuit of freedom and justice. This edition also highlights the richness of the Pangasinan language and contributes to the preservation and appreciation of regional Philippine literature and culture.
