This textbook contextually presents a student-friendly approach to the basic and important elements of the Spanish language that seek to develop students' speaking and writing skills so that they can find themselves able to express their own ideas and interact with others in a meaningful way. It provides a functional, proficiency-oriented, and wide-ranging set of activities that will allow students to develop their Spanish language skills as well as to improve their communicative abilities in Spanish.
It is divided into three units which are as follows:
Unit I, Notional and Functional Contents, investigates the Structures and patterns of the Spanish language, similar to how scientists research patterns and trends in this world. It will discuss the nuances of the Spanish language and explore how to utilize it effectively. These language skills are not only significant for communication but also allow us to unveil the curtain to witness the rich culture of Spanish-speaking communities.
Unit II, Grammatical Contents, delves into the grammatical components and intricacies of the Spanish language for the students to communicate effectively and accurately in Spanish, both in writing and in conversation
Unit III, Lexical Contents, dives deeper on the vast ocean the past units have uncovered. It will unlock more Spanish words that will help the learners form stronger links in communicating with Spanish-speaking people, and learn how to use the words in context.
The activities in this textbook are strategically and contextually constructed so that students can clearly put what they have learned and understood from the lessons into practice. The author have placed a lot of emphasis on a variety of individual and group tasks that will certainly prepare the students to be considered as professional language teacher.
