520			_aIn the Philippines, basketball is the most popular sports. basketball is the part of the Filipino culture and a part of their everyday life. There are many basketball court in the Philippines where people of almost all ages gather and play their all-time favorite past time. Basketball courts have many uses for the people aside from being a venue of playing basketball. However due to the of information. there are possibility that some of the people have no idea where to find the nearest basketball court which limits their access to such facility. The study aims to present a software that can easily locate basketball courts in Dumaguete City and provide important information to user. using Field-Survey method, the researcher gathered data from Dumaguete City. All data are accreted as of March 15, 2015. The software develop process was based on the incremental waterfall model. The software product of this research is called court finder. It has a mobile version which run on Android 4.0+ and a web-app which run on typical web browser. It is a tool for getting information and locating basketball courts based on the users' location with added extra features. This study shows that software application is helpful to people who need information about basketball courts in Dumaguete City especially those who discovered other nearby basketball courts in their are after using the application for the first time.
