The researchers utilized descriptive-correlational and random sampling techniques in identifying the respondents from 1st year student nurses at Foundation University. The researchers utilized validated questionnaires and employed frequency, weighted mean, and Spearman's Ra K-drama relation coefficient in treating the data. The study revealed that the level of emotional intelligence is classified as "high" in the following areas: self-awareness,self-regulation,motivation,empathy,and social skills. In terms of the level of health-related quality of life, the study indicated that the respondents have "high"engagement in activities beneficial to both physical and general health.
