| 520 | _aSince its founding in 2004, Osage Art Foundation(OAF) has been promoting cross cultural understanding through art exhibitions, publications, workshops and symposia between Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia and the Philippines, most recently expanding the dialogue to include Europe. OAF recognizes that more needs to be done to develop the cultural conversations happening within Asia and beyond. To better address this need, OAF has launched the platform,Regional Perspectives, and initiated the platform with a major exhibition series. Each publication under this series offers analysis and interpretations of cultural expressions and artistic ideas of creative individuals and allows them to collectively present their views and opinions to a regional and global audience. The series aims to foster intellectual curiosity and compassionate understanding of some of the things that may ultimately better unite us. -- Preface. | ||
