520 _aABSTRACT The human workforce nowadays is increasing fast, yet little are very much awNare or all their employment rights in the workplace. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of awareness on employment rights among employees in motorcycle companies of Dumaguete City. About 200 questionnaires were distributed to different motorcycle companies within Dumaguete City and which gave a response rate of 75%. The research being conducted is a non-experimental type of research which is used to detail and present the level of awareness on employment rights among employees of motorcycle companies located in Dumaguete City. In order to collect the necessary data, the researchers developed a questionnaire to get the basic personal and employees' riaht informations. This research is a descriptive type of research wherein it describes the level of awareness of the employees of motorcycle companies in Dumaguete City on Employment rights. The respondents in this research are the employees of Motorcycle companies in Dumaguete City. Results indicated that the level of awareness on employment rights among employees of motorcycle companies in Dumaguete City is high, The study also found out that most of the respondents Experience problems with regards to employment rights such as pay, number of hours worked, holiday entitlement/pay, rest breaks, improper dismissal, discrimination, dissatisfaction, miscommunication, conflict with colleagues, and ineffective leadership. It was also found out that the relationship between respondents' level of awareness on Employment Rights is slightly affected on their marital status. As a finale of this study, the researchers gave some recommendations to take appropriate responses on this results and to increase the level of awareness on employment rights, as well as to improve their working environment.
