SALVOR0, BSBA-FM III School Foundation University Dr.Miciano Road, Dumaguete City Date Completed: May 25, 2013 It was the objective of this study to determine the feasibility and viability of establishing RIS convenience store in Purok 2 Tampi, San Jose, Negros Oriental. Specifically, the objectives are the following: (1) to identify whether the proposed project is feasible from its marketing point of view; (2) to determine if it is workable as far as the technical aspect is concerned; (3) to determine if it is workable based on its management perspective; (4) to determine if the proposed project is financially feasible; (5) to determine if the proposed project is practicable and acceptable from the socio-economic point of view. In order to attain the primary objective of the proposed business enterprise, this is to determine the overall viability of the said business. Moreover, the method also utilize the descriptive analysis of research basing from the five aspects of the study in determining the respondents' preferences in putting a convenience store in Tampi, San Jose, Negros Oriental. The study used survey questionnaires as instrument in data collection. There are a total of 395 respondents. Random sampling was used in data collection. The survey result showed that the proposed project is feasible from its marketing, technical, financial and socio-economic aspects. There were 98.22% respondents who are willing to patronize the business which means that the business has a market. The business also has good management structure with 10 employees. It is financialy feasible because it has an ROl of 23.16% in the first year and increases every year. Finaly, the business will generate employment opportunities in the said location of the business and will cater the needs of the people.
