Chapter 1P resents the historical evolution in the study of criminology,and Chapter 2 follows with developing criminological theory. This identifies and evaluates the importance of a theory in criminology. Chapter 3 describes the basics in criminological research. Chapter 4 describes crime, law,and criminal behavior, and Chapter 5 follows with measuring crime. Chapter 6 examines victims and offenders,and Chapter 7 features on punishment,sentencing,and rehabilitation. Chapter 8th siders the criminology and criminal justice in the Philippines,and lastly, Chapter 9 features the criminology profession in the Philippines with emphasis on the new law, Republic Act No. 11131.
