Aims to find out if there was a significant relationship between the reading comprehension proficiency of the fourth year students and their National Achievement Test (NAT) performance in English; study reveals that there is a significant relationship between the respondents' reading comprehension proficiency and respondents' NAT performance in English and the results shows that the higher the students' comprehension proficiency level, the better is the performance in English and vice versa.
