The following core competencies are also included(1)event planning services; planning and developing event proposal or bidding;developing anevent concept; developing an event program; selecting the event venue and site; developingand updating event industry knowledge; and (2) on-site management services:providingon-site event management services; developing and updating knowledge on protocol;andmanaging contractors for indoor events.
Upon finishing this course, the learner may merit the National Certificate Level III (NC III)upon passing the TESDA Qualification Standard Certificate Level (NC III) in EventsManagement Services.
Through this course, it is hoped that the learners will be able to obtain the proper knowledge,skills,and attitude necessary for the course; and if successful enough, gain profitableemployment within the tourism industry.
