The objective of this study is to determine the viability of establishing a KameRon
Highland Resort at Baslay Dauin, Negros Oriental. The specific areas that are
considered in this study are the following: the marketing feasibility of the proposed
project, the technical feasibility of the proposed project, the financial viability of the
proposed project, the appropriate management structure and the socio-economic
practicality and acceptability of the proposed project. The name of the project is
KameRon Highland Resort.
The researcher employed the descriptive study and feasibility inquiry approach.
The study made use of survey questionnaire as an instrument in data collection. A total
of 400 respondents from all chosen Municipality and City as respondents using the
convenience sampling method of collecting data.
The study revealed that the proposed project is viable from the marketing.
technícal, management, financial and socio-economic point of view. The proposed
project has a market since the respondents are willing to patronize the business has an
appropriate business structure which composed of 40 employees. It is financially viable
because the financial analysis and evaluation showed that is profitable within five years
payback period from the start of the business. Finally, the business will generate
employment in the Negros Municipality, meet the needs and wants of the employers,
from all Barangay in Municipality and City.
