ABSTRACT
The main objective of the study is to determine the feasibility of
establishing a private learning center in Dauin, Negros Oriental. The following are
considered to be the specific objective of the study: (1) To find out the
advantages, both in financial and non-financial aspects, in establishing the
proposed learning center. (2) To authenticate the productivity of the learning
center for the proponent. (3) To determine the feasibility of the proposal in terms
of its marketing, technical, management, socio-economic, and most of all,
financial aspects. (4) To be able to figure out if the proposed project is feasible in
the municipality of Dauin.
The researcher used simple random sampling method. The respondents
came from the residents of the nearby barangay namely, Bulak, Lipayo,
Poblacion District 1, Poblacion District II, Poblaciona District ll, Masaplod Norte,
Masapod Sur, and Maayongtubig. The researcher considered 358 respondents.
The responses were tabulated, analyzed and evaluated in measuring the viability
of the project study.
The proposed project will be named KIDDIEVILLE LEARNING CENTER.
It will be a partnership type of business.
The total investment needed is P 4,500,000.00 and has the payback
period of one year.
The result of the study shows that the project is feasible in different
aspects. On the management point of view, the organizational structure is well
designed. The layout design and equipment is suitable for the project. The
projected financial statements and ratios indicated a favorable profita bility. The
proposed project gives favorable impact to the economy for it helps generates
income and employment opportunity. On the other hand, the proposed project is
feasible on the marketing aspect for the result shows that there is a demand on
the services offered by the proposed learning center. In line with the continuous
need for education, the project is commendable.
