A graduate research study entitled "Open High School Learners' Independent Learning Readiness in Relation to their Reading Comprehension Level"; the study revealed that majority of the learners are male and almost within the right age for their year level and it shows that the majority of the learners are in the "instructional" level in their independent learning readiness test result and reading comprehension level; a "slight" relationship between the independent learning readiness is a numerical differences in the performance of learners when they are group according to their profile figures in the same verbal equivalent; it is "instructional " level for independent learning readiness and "beginning" level for reading "comprehension".
