Abstract, Summary, etc. | "The objective is to determine the feasibility of opening a zero waste grocery store and cafe in market place which is beside the ceres terminal in Calindagan, Dumaguete City. The name of the proposed project is Daginot Negrense. The specific areas that are considered in the feasibility study are the marketing, management, financial, technical and socio-economic aspect of the proposed project. The researchers employed the project feasibility approach. A total of 400 respondents are from Dumaguete City. The study is conducted during the year 2019-2020. The researchers floated 400 survey questionnaires and the findings revealed that respondents only prefer to purchase useful household items and meals or snacks they can afford. The findings revealed that the respondents are willing to purchase the recycled containers and eco bags in the business. More importantly, it shows that almost all the respondents are willing to patronize the business. It concludes that the business is workable or feasible on the different aspects. In connection, the researchers would like to recommend that the management of the business will have to widen their choices of grocery items, snacks, meals, and drinks that the clients can avail." --Abstract |
