Abstract, Summary, etc. In this generation, electricity has become a necessity (American Transmission Company, 2016). in 2011, 74 percent of household used electricity for lighting purposes (Philippine Statistics Authority, 2013). Monitoring of whether lighting devices are being used or not has become a hustle. Furthermore, people tend to forget to turn off the lights. To fic this dilemma, various home automation package has been made. However, these products cost a lot and that only the above middle class can afford. The ultimate goal of this project is to develop a Light Automation in Multi-Platform that cost less and be usable for the common household. The light automation is composed of several hardware parts: a Wi-Fi module, breadboard circuit and a serial adapter with an AC charger. Other hardware components include transistors, diodes, resistors, relay switch, and wire will also be used. The programming languages used are HTML5 and Lua. The developers also used Arduino IDE, Fritzing, Sublime Text, Brackets, Lua Uploader, Flasher and Adobe Photoshop for the designs. Based on the results, the researchers conclude that it is possible to produce a light controller via Wi-Fi using affordable components.
