Abstract, Summary, etc. Abstract
This study investigated the perceived relationship between the student's level of interest in learning quadratic functions after utilizing GeoGebra and their perceivedusefulness. The study used a quasi-experimental design, specifically the one-grouppretest-posttest design using a single-stage cluster sampling technique,to identify grade 9 students' interest levels before and after using GeoGebra software in the school year 2023-2024 at Demetrio L. Alviola National (Memorial) High School.Thestudy used the weighted mean, Wilcox on test, and Spearman rank correlation coefficient to compare pre-and post-evaluation interest in learning quadraticfunctions. Results show GeoGebra's effectiveness in raising interest in how quadratic functions sparked a more intense passion with the subject matter.Using GeoGebratools promoted higher interest in learning regarding confidence, participation, and drive in learning quadratic functions. This includes graphing, solving equations, and applying what they learned in the real world, which changed before and after usinggeometry.GeoGebra's exciting and vivid components help students relax and stay involved, improving the elements of pleasure and teamwork in education. The student s'mores clear improvement in three areas-understanding concepts, connecting with teachers, and results of assessment-is strongly linked with their wish to study more about quadratic functions. Students more enthusiastic about quadratic functions are more likely to comprehend these topics following GeoGebra.
Keywords: GeoGebra, Interest ,Quadratic Functions, Mathematics, ICT, Education
