| Abstract, Summary, etc. | This study has been conducted to observe the awareness of Local and<br/>Foreign Tourist on the Anti-smoking Ordinance in Dumaguete City. In this study<br/>Demographic, the awareness of the Local and Foreign Tourist and the effects of the<br/>anti-smoking ordinance have been observed. The interest is in identifying how these<br/>personalities have knowledge about the anti-smoking ordinance implemented in the<br/>City.<br/>The researchers were able to reach the following findings at the end of the<br/>study. Majority of the Local and Foreign Tourist respondents are aware of the anti-<br/>smoking ordinance that had been implemented recently. Most of the respondents<br/>had a positive attitude towards the effectiveness of the ordinance. Shows<br/>determination, dedication and firm implementation of the ordinance by the<br/>government and the respect of the tourists to the law implemented in the Citvy will<br/>achieve significant improvement to the ordinance. On analysis it is discovered that<br/>there is a sianificant relationship between the type of tourist and the effects of the<br/>implementation of the anti-smoking ordinance. |
