One of the most common technologies Used s<br/>information technology with the use of computers. The development of information<br/>technologies greatly influences the lives of majority of people around the worla<br/>because it provides many opportunities to improve the quality of both our private and<br/>professional lives.<br/>Through the use of computer in business, it is easy to process information<br/>with great speed accuracy and reliability. Functions like performing calculation,<br/>storing, sorting vast quantities of data, text editing and word processing, data<br/>processing, variety of problem solving and networking can be done systematically in<br/>the computer. Computer information is all-powerful. With the right and proper use of<br/>the technology many things can be accomplished that can increase efficiency and<br/>productivity in any industry.<br/>Today, companies often do away with manual-clerical works. They rather<br/>have computer technology that can help make their work faster, easier and more<br/>productive, that which can manage information efficiently, can enhance creativity<br/>and can have competitive edge in today's market.<br/>Here in Dumaguete City, competition exists in the lodging business. As we<br/>have observed, many visitors/tourists, both local and foreign, are pouring in to this<br/>City of gentlepeople. Therefore, a well functioning reservation system of this<br/>COASTAL INN is a must. Reservations are the life force of any hotel operation.
