Abstract, Summary, etc. You, 21 min<br/>ABSTRACT<br/>This study presents the development of BELFresh Innovations: PalmFresh UV Rack,<br/>an innovative and sustainable shoe storage solution designed to address footwear<br/>sanitation and environmental sustainability. The product is made from palm tree crown<br/>shafts, an abundant agricultural by-product, and integrated with far UV-C light technology<br/>to help reduce microbial contamination on footwear while promoting the efficient use of<br/>eco-friendly materials. Purposive sampling was employed using structured survey<br/>questionnaires distributed to selected households and commercial establishments in<br/>Dumaguete City, with respondents chosen based on their willingness and capacity to<br/>purchase household sanitation and furniture products. The sample size was determined<br/>using Slovin's formula to represent both residential and commercial markets. Findings<br/>revealed strong demand for hygienic and sustainable products, with most respondents<br/>expressing interest in purchasing the Palm Fresh UV Rack provided it is reasonably priced<br/>and meets quality expectations.
