Abstract, Summary, etc. Abstract<br/>Pregnancy that occurs during the perimenopausal stage often brings unfamiliar<br/>physical, emotional, and social challenges. Yet, despite its growing relevance, this topic<br/>remains underexplored in reproductive health discussions. This study aimed to understand<br/>how WOmen who became pregnant in this stage experienced and coped with these<br/>challenges. Conducted in Dumaguete City, Philippines, the research used a qualitative<br/>descriptive design, with data gathered through individual interviews involving seven<br/>Women. The final participant count was guided by data saturation, reached when no new<br/>insights or patterns emerged. Thematic analysis, guided by Braun and Clarke's approach,<br/>and organized using Roy's Adaptation Model, led to the development of five themes and<br/>thirteen subthemes. Participants described feelings of fear, emotional vulnerability, and<br/>uncertainty, yet also expressed pride in overcoming the demands of pregnancy and<br/>motherhood. The presence of supportive family members and access to healthcare played a<br/>key role in helping them adapt. The findings highlight the complex and deeply personal<br/>nature of pregnancy in perimenopause and emphasize the importance of responsive,<br/>individualized care for women navigating this rare experience.<br/>Keywords: women's health, perimenopausal pregnancy, qualitative descriptive study,<br/>thematic analysis, Philippines
