Abstract, Summary, etc. Abstract<br/>This research investigated the effects of Scatter Slots online gambling on the academic,<br/>emotional, social, and financial well-being of nursing students at Foundation University for<br/>the academic year 2024-2025. It utilized a descriptive correlational research design, wherein<br/>100 nursing students from the university were asked to participate in the study who<br/>reportedly engage in Scatter Slots online gambling. The data were collected utilizing a<br/>structured survey questionnaire for measuring the extent of gambling engagement and levels<br/>of well-being across four domains using a 5-point Likert scale. Descriptive statistics and<br/>Spearman's rho correlation were used for data analysis. Results indicated that nursing<br/>students were engaged in Scatter Slots online gambling at a moderate level. Similarly,<br/>respondents had average levels of academic, emotional, social, and financial wellbeing.<br/>Correlational analysis indicated that there was no significant association in the extent of<br/>engagement in Scatter Slots online gambling with any of the wellbeing domains, p > 0.05. The<br/>results imply that, within the scope of this study, Scatter Slots online gambling among nursing<br/>students remains recreational and does not significantly impact their wellbeing. Based on<br/>Dorothea Orem's Self-Care Deficit Theory, it would appear that most students maintain<br/>appropriate self-care and functional balance against the effects of moderate problem<br/>gambling involvement. Yet, with the presence of online gambling one cannot relax in the<br/>efforts of awareness, responsible behavior, and preventive support against the threat to<br/>wellbeing.
