AS AFFECTED BY DIFFERENT<br/>ORGANIC FERTILIZERS<br/>Wenny L, Angay<br/>Foundation University<br/>Adviser:<br/>The sudy was conducted to evaluate the growth and yield of corn as affected by<br/>Stanley A. Bermillo, M.S<br/>the different organic fertilizers in terms of the plant height, number of days to tassem<br/>number of days to silking, number of days to mature, ear length and ear height, yield pe<br/>hectare and weigh of 1000 seeds.<br/>The following treatments used in the study were control treatment, goat manure<br/>for treatment 1, carabao manure for treatment 2, and cattle manure for treatment 5. 1e<br/>study used is a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatment<br/>replicated four times.<br/>Results show that treatment 2 has the highest yield among other experimental<br/>treatments with the average mean value of 3,166.83 kg per hectare while treatment 0<br/>(Control) has the lowest yield with 2,833.38 kg per hectare. Other experimental<br/>treatments, the treatment 1 and treatment 3 yielded for 2,875.05 kg per hectare and<br/>2,927.13 kg per hectare respectively.
