Abstract, Summary, etc. ABSTRACT<br/>The proposed private learning center will be named Early Steps Learning<br/>Center. The mission of the establishment is to develop and enhance the child's<br/>learning during the formative years of its life and to assure the caring, nurturing<br/>and safe environment for the children.<br/>Early Steps Learning Center will be the first and only private school in<br/>Dauin, Negros Oriental. Nursery, Kinder I and Kinder Il will be offered. Nursery<br/>will cater to children ages 3-4 years old, Kinder I will be offered to 5 years old and<br/>Kinder Il will be offered to children, 6 years old.<br/>The operation will be governed and be subjected to the existing rules and<br/>requlations of the Department of Education and other government regulatory<br/>bodies. The long range objective of the proposed project is to continue to provide<br/>education for children in the earty vears and for the total development of a chid.<br/>Tne preschool must be able to continue to form children with capable Curious<br/>learners who must be free to leam for themselves and express their thoughts ana<br/>Ideas. The preschool shall also boost children's' skills whether the kids Come<br/>Trom middle class or well-off homes. The preschool shall also be the environment<br/>where children learn at the same time enjoy going to schoo1.<br/>The proposed private learning center will be situated in Lipayo, Dauin,<br/>Negros Oriental. This site was selected due to its accessibility and majority of the<br/>targeted market is in the area.<br/>The proposed school aimed to commence its operation by school year<br/>2014 - 2015. The project will take 14 months, including the feasibility study<br/>before it will become fully operational. The Gantt chart presents the schedule of<br/>activities.<br/>The viability of the proposed project was assessed in terms of the<br/>following aspects: marketing aspect, financial aspect, technical aspect,<br/>management aspect and social economic aspect.<br/>The partners will invest PHP 2,250,000.00 each for the proposed project.<br/>The total capital investment is PHP 4,500,000.00. The pre-operating expenses<br/>will amount to PHP 44,002.,00 and the fixed assets will be PHP 4,205,678.00;<br/>total project cost of PHP 4,249,680.00. The capital needed for the proposed<br/>school will come from the partners' own funds. The study made by the researcher yields a very favorable result. In the<br/>marketing point of view, the proposed project is feasible since respondents<br/>shows willingness to avail of the services and thev are capable of paying for the<br/>Sevices. It also revealed that the project will gain financial advantage when t<br/>Comes to profitably and immediate return on investment. Technically, the project<br/>is feasible as it will be created to cater the need of an early childhood quality<br/>education to the children of Dauin and its neighboring towns without the sacrifice<br/>of waking up early and the hassle of travel to Dumaguete City. The proposed<br/>establishment will be hiring employees especially the teachers which do not only<br/>teach the child and mold their mental abilities but also to be able to mold the<br/>interpersonal skills of each child. The operation will be supervised by the<br/>partners. The proposed project will benefit the community as a whole. It will<br/>provide employment and will also benefit the local government through taxes.<br/>There will also be an increase in demand for food, transportation and the like.<br/>And since it is found that the proposed project is feasible in all aspects of<br/>the study, the researcher therefore recommend that the proposed project shall be<br/>established as soon as possible, the partners must think of ways to promote the<br/>school especially at an early stage of operation and the partners must be able to<br/>maintain the quality of service they will offer so they can sustain the needs of its<br/>clientele.
