ABSTRACT<br/>The objective of the study is to determine the viability of establishing a mobile<br/>kitchen/restobar in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.<br/>The researcher employed the product feasibility research design. The study made<br/>use of a survey questionnaire as an instrument<br/>instrument for data collection. A total of 399<br/>individuals from Dumaguete City, both local and transient, served as respondents.<br/>The viability was evaluated considering the marketing feasibility, technical<br/>feasibility, financial feasibility, appropriate management structure, and the socio-<br/>economic practicality and acceptability of the proposed business.<br/>Findings of the study revealed that the proposed business is viable from the<br/>marketing, technical, management, financial, and socio-economic points of view. The<br/>proposed business indeed has a market as reflected by the respondents who showed the<br/>willingness to patronize the business due to the products' quality, affordability, and<br/>sanitation compliance. Technically, it is feasible considering the readily available<br/>resources and strategic locations. It is also feasible, as the business will use an<br/>appropriate business structure, which is composed of four employees. The financial<br/>analysis and evaluation showed its viability projections. Finally, the socio-economic<br/>contributions of the business prove to be significantly desirable as such will provide an<br/>employment opportunity for out-of-schol individuals and thereby, eventually helping<br/>them to continue their studies. |
