| Abstract |
ABSTRUCT<br/>A Garments factory has much offer in terms<br/>of clothing needs and it is one of our source of<br/>income, It also contributes to all mankind be-<br/>cause with the factory of dresses, all people<br/>might have sufficient supply of clothing.<br/>We would not denied the fact that the world<br/>population is always increasing. Thus, we need<br/>more dresses for our clothing, so the demand now<br/>comes in and a garment factory is best suited for<br/>the demand.<br/>In Negros Oriental there are only few fac-<br/>tories of a cloth and one of those are found in<br/>the Dumaguete City, Tanjay, Bayawan, Bais City,<br/>Canlaon City and Guihulngan most of these facto-<br/>are sold to other countries by export process.<br/>Unfortunately, the province of Negros Or-<br/>iental has the lowest percentage of factory; un-<br/>like in Central Luzon or the National Capital<br/>Region that most of the people work in the Gar-<br/>ments factory.<br/>There is a little doubt that the garments<br/>factory in Negros Oriental increase because of<br/>the demands of the customers or consumers.<br/>Realizing this problem in the Municipality<br/>of Amlan, Hon. Emma Trasmonte Monsale; Mayor of<br/>Amlan launched one year ago a project dubbed as<br/>"A small tailoring in Barangay Mag-abo,"<br/>Thus, humble researcher was inspired to<br/>make this peasibility study for Negros to boast<br/>the program of the Municipal mayor.<br/>This study is divided into five major<br/>categories or aspects, namely: Management,<br/>Marketing, Technical, Financial and Social desi-<br/>ra bility. Data especially related to this aspect<br/>were gathered from National Statistics Office and<br/>Department of Trade and Industry.<br/>Conclusions drawn from the collection of<br/>data reflected the feasibility of the managerial<br/>aspects of the project, the Municipality of Amlan<br/>is willing to put up the project.<br/>The Philippine National Bank of Dumaguete<br/>City Branch which would be the source of loan amoun-<br/>ting three million pesos. The bank is waiting for<br/>viable feasibility study before it would release<br/>the project loan.<br/>On the marketing aspects, the projected an-<br/>nual demand of the yearly bases and increase by<br/>million of pesos annually.<br/> |
