This study aimed to evaluate the field practice experience at the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) in Piapi, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Negros Island Region. Specifically, it sought to document the range of veterinary services provided and assess the competencies developed during the training. Data were gathered through direct participation, observation, and review of office records. The activities performed included animal health assessment, vaccination, disease diagnosis, treatment of livestock and companion animals, and participation in farm visits and extension services. Findings revealed that the field practice enhanced technical skills in animal handling, clinical procedures, and record management, while also exposing the trainee to common challenges in veterinary service delivery such as resource limitations and disease control issues. The study concludes that field practice at the PVO is an effective component of veterinary education, contributing significantly to the development of practical competencies and professional readiness.
