An undergraduate study utilized Hussel's descriptive phenomenology nd snowball sampling technique in gathering the insights of the experiences of of the elderly survivors. Twenty themes emerged and were collated into seven theme clusters, these are COVID-19 community response, attitude towards COVID-19 vaccine, impending death, companion in crisis, onset of severity of symptoms , heroes of the new normal, and challenges and coping strategies during COVID-19 infection.
