Dissertation note: Summary: "This study aimed to determine the level of attitude of pupils towards game-based instruction in Mathematics and their extent of teacher-pupil interaction. The study utilized the descriptive-correlational research design in the sense that it aimed to determine the levels of pupils' attitude towards game-based instruction, a researcher-made questionnaire was utilized and for teacher-pupil interaction, a questionnaire modified form the instrument of Fisher, D., Fraser, B. and Croswell, J. was used. The respondents of the study sere the Grade Six pupils of the thirteen complete elementary school of Dauin District, Negros Oriental. The study utilized the weighted mean, Pearson r, chi-square coefficient of contingency and t-test. The findings revealed that pupils' level of attitude towards game-based instruction in Mathematics is "High." The extent of teacher-pupil interaction in Mathematics subject taught through games is "High." There is significant relationship between pupils' level of attitude towards game-based instruction in Mathematics and the extent of teacher-pupil interaction. There is significant relationship between pupils' level of attitude towards game-based instruction and their profile in terms of sex, age, and Mathematics grade. There is a significant relationship between pupils' extent of teacher-pupil interaction, and their profile in terms of sex and Mathematics grades, however, age was found not significant in relation to teacher-pupil interaction." --Abstract
