This textbook,entitled Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence,was designed in response to the development of the new curriculum of the BS Criminology program.As the new era of learning rises,this textbook incorporated the different areas of life-long learning (cognitive,affective,and kinesthetic) adhering to Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) format in making textbooks and wereemployed to the topics and subtopics, as applicable.
In imparting the necessary knowledge of this curse,the textbook itself made it easier for the students to understand both the lesson and the activities provided in making them independent leaders in the field of investigation.Although the activities provided are more into the introductory level, this will guide them and enhance their capabilities in the field of investigation and other allied fields.Withdue confidence,this textbook assures that the fundamental topics were outlined and designed for easy understanding and comprehension for the professors and students.
With respect to its preparation,time became very essential in the making of this material as the author's designed this textbook only after the release of the new syllabus aligning with the newly developedcurriculum.Despite the time constraint,it did not reduce the intention and the passion of the authors to produce a textbook worth reading.In addition, the author's completed this textbook with the aid of some experts in the field of outlining an OBE format.
Moreover, the authors took care to correct even typographical errors, but as human as they are, a few lapses may still linger.Rest assured, however, that the substance of the topics and subtopics is free from any distortions or misrepresentations.
