Aims to align teachers education with the CHED-prescribed new teacher educatio9n curriculum that is reflective of the National Competency-Based Teacher Standards with the end in view of contributing to the formation of the ideal professional teacher as concretely described in the seven integrated domains of teaching and learning process; discusses human diversity in all of its forms as well as the crucial role played by education in addressing problems and concerns arising from these differences; relates four major sociological theories emphasizing their analysis of human diversity, and include functionalism, conflict, interactionism, and critical paradigms, with cartoon illustrations presented to reinforce the salient points discussed.
