The Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal providing up-to-date research and clinical content that promotes optimal care for diverse populations and communities with mental health needs. For more than 60 years, the journal has provided the most current, practical information available for today’s psychosocial nurse, including short contributions related to psychopharmacology, mental health care of older adults, child/adolescent disorders and issues, and substance use and related disorders. Every issue features a Quick Reference Drug Chart, a one-page resource on current medications for various psychiatric illnesses.
The Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services is a subscription-based publication, supported primarily by both institutional and individual subscriptions. The journal offers a hybrid open access option, whereby articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication in exchange for payment of an article processing charge.
