Focusing on formal elements and writing techniques, this book-Inward and Outward: A Textbook for Creative Nonfiction-introduces the students to the reading and writing of creative nonfiction as a literary form. The lessons and activities provided develop the learners' skills in critical/creative reading and thinking, with the end view of helping them become imaginative readers and writers.
This textbook employs themes of photography, which is used as a metaphor for the process of writing creative nonfiction.
