This book is prepared in accordance with the College Physical Education 1- PHYSICAL ACTIVITY TOWARDS HEALTH AND
FITNESS (PATH FIT 1) Movement Competency. It provides physical activities for the purpose of optimizing health and fitness.
This book contains various activities that the students can perform based on their fitness goals and wellness. Activities were chosen in a way that it will fit with students' capabilities which will eventually lead towards their holistic development, the major goal of the subject.Knowledge of the body, the nutritional needs, the proper movements that provide training in different movement patterns, and core engagement in conjunction with principles of healthy eating and physically active lifestyles are among the important information in this book.
This book also aims to develop the exercises' performance accompanied by the music and actual training exercise with
different body movements in a practical activity, so that the student will learn the fundamental knowledge on how the body reacts and
adapts physically.
As the first book in College Physical Education, this book is divided into five chapters. Definitely, it will always start with the .1 Concepts of Physical Education, 2. Movement Education, 3. Physical Fitness, 4. Nutrition, 5. Movement Training. These topics are all geared towards the development of the studentsin all aspects, Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Socially, and Spiritually (PEMSS) in the performance of properly selected physical activities.
