The objective of the whole study is to determine the feasibility of the Cuts
and Clips Beauty Salon in South Poblacion, Valencia, Negros Oriental. The
specific areas that are considered in this study are the following: MARKETING,
TECHNICAL, FINANCIAL, MANAGEMENT, and SOCIO-ECONOMIC ASPECTS
of the proposed project.
The researchers employed the descriptive study and feasibility inquiry
approach. The study made use of a survey questionnaire as an instrument in the
data collection. The prepared questionnaires were distributed to the 388
respondents.
The proposed project is visible in the marketing, technical, management,
financial, and socio-economic aspects. There is a wide market since the majority
of the respondents are willing to patronize the business due to non-existence of
such business in the town. The proposed business is composed of 7 employees.
According to the gathered information, the project is feasible since it is profitable
with 4 years payback period and ROI of 22% in the first year of operation. This
business will be very beneficial if it will be realized. It can cater the needs of the
customer. And at the same time, it will be a great help to the people who are
unemployed and improve their standard of living.
