ABSTRACT
The proposed business is about the Establishment of Learmer's Lounge: A Learning Café in
U-Pension Building, Silliman Avenue, Dumaguete City. The respondents of the study are all
students who are at least in their Grade Seven year in high school. However, the business will
cater as well to professionals who happen to have to finish paper works. Eventually, the
business caters to local people of Dumaguete City who are at least 12 years old.
A research designed questionnaire was made in order to scout out the necessary
information of the study. The questionnaire was made to determine the profile of the
respondents and the willingness of the respondents to patronize the business.
The main objective of the study is to determine the feasibility of establishing the
proposed business and to determine the presence of the demand. Specifically, it aims towards
verifying whether the functional areas of the business such as marketing, management,
technical, socio-economic and financial are viable and workable.
The results showed that the proposed business is feasible in the marketing,
nanagement, technical, financial and socio-economic aspect for the reason that all data
gathered revealed a positive and favorable outcomes. From the findings revealed, the
business is feasible as a whole. It is then recommended by the researchers to do business
expansion as the demand increases with the development of other amenities, more food
meals offered and a comprehensive tutorial session scheme for the business.
