This study determined the profile of agriculture teachers and identified the problems encountered in teaching agriculture in the public elementary and secondary schools of Dumaguete City. It examined teacher characteristics, professional preparation, teaching experience, instructional practices, and challenges affecting the effective delivery of agriculture education. The findings served as a basis for recommendations to improve agriculture instruction in the schools.
