Aims to correlate the students' level of motivation in learning chemistry and their academic performance through 192 third year students of Dumaguete City; reveals that majority of students are male, whose parents are high school graduates, that the higher their motivation to learn, the better their academic performance, therefore teachers should find more available and relevant resources to keep the students entered.
