Identifies the factors influencing the self-esteem of Grade V and V pupils of Cadawinonan Elementary School in relation to their academic performance utilizing the descriptive survey method with questionnaire as its instruments in gathering data; shows that majority of respondents were female, on the right age for the year level with academic performance in the previous curriculum year "approaching proficiency" and further reveals that there is no significant relationship existing between social acceptance and academic performance, however, when it cover to experiences and academic performance the results shows a significant relationship.
