The main objective of the study was to determine the feasibility of the establishment of
Auld Care Funeral Parlor in Larena Drive, Taclobo, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Stratified random sampling was utilized in the selection of 400 respondents. The
respondents of the study were the residence of Dumaguete City, Bacong, Sibulan and
Valencia who are at least 25 years old and above. The study used survey questionnaire as
a tool in data collection or gathering information.
To consider the functional areas of the business such as marketing, management,
technical, financial and socio-economic are feasible and marketable. There were 90%
percent who are willing to patronize the business to their friends, workmates and relative.
To determine how the target market would respond to proposed location and to gather
information for the needs of the actual market. In management aspects, it reflects the
operation or process of the business. It includes the organizational chart in the line with
the job analysis, job qualification and specification. It contain the layout design of the
building whereas financial aspects detailed the financial statements in the process of the
business. The business would be a huge help for the economy and would generate
employment opportunities and would provide the needs of the people. Finally, the last
chapter detailed the summary of the findings, conclusions and recommendation. It also
contains the appendices that shows the collection of the legal documents needed for the
business to operate.
