This study aimed to determine the yield and growth response of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) under different growing conditions. Specifically, it evaluated the effects of variations in substrate composition, moisture content, temperature, and light exposure on mushroom development and productivity. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design, and data were collected on parameters such as mycelial growth rate, time to fruiting, number of fruiting bodies, and total yield. Results showed that optimal growing conditions significantly enhanced both growth and yield performance, while unfavorable conditions resulted in reduced productivity. The findings suggest that proper management of environmental and substrate factors is essential for maximizing mushroom production. The study recommends the adoption of suitable growing conditions to improve efficiency and profitability in mushroom cultivation.
