"This study conducted to determine the perception of the students on the use of powerpoint presentation in teaching science and technology in the second year high school of Basac National High School, in relation to their performance which utilized the descriptive survey with the questionnaire as the principal instrument. The frequency of distribution, percentage, weighted mean, standard deviation, t-ratio, Pearson r Coefficient of Correlation and Chi-Square was used as statistical tools. It was found that there is a significant difference between students' performance in the previous and the current curriculum year in the use of powerpoint presentation. The respondent perception on the use of powerpoint presentation in terms of motivation has significantly related to their current performance which can be inferred that with proper motivation, student; performance would be improved. In terms of learners' cognition it has significantly related to their current performance which can be concluded that the students who understand the lesson clearly have better performance in the current curriculum year." --Abstract
