Summary: Abstract This study aimed to determine the teachers' motivational level toward their job interms of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation and their affective and continuancecommitment. The respondents of this study were the junior high school teachers inDumaguete City, under the Dumaguete City Division. The study made use ofdescriptive-correlational survey.It utilized weighted mean, frequency distribution,percentage, Pearson r, and Kruskal-Wallis test for its statistical tool. Result of thestudy revealed that teachers' motivational level toward job in terms of extrinsic andintrinsic motivation is high. Furthermore, the study showed that teachers'commitment toward their job in terms of affective and continuance commitment ishigh. Result also revealed that there is a strong significant relationship betweenteachers' motivational leve in terms of affective and weak significant relationship interms of continuance.
