The objective of the study is to determine the visibility of establishing a MCM's Papaya
Plantation at Janay-janay, San Jose, Negros Oriental. The specific areas that are considered
in this study are the following: (1) the marketing aspect of the proposed project: (2) the
technical aspect of the proposed project: (3) the financial aspect of the proposed project
(4) the management aspect of the proposed project; and (5) the socio-economic desirability
of the proposed project. The name of the proposed project is MCM's Papaya Plantation.
The study made use of a survey questionnaire, interview, observation and documentary
analysis The prepared questionnaires were distributed to the respondents and to the
proponent. The total population that we gather from the survey was not exceeding of more
than 234 populations. So, we don't need to use any formula to get the sample, instead we
use the total population of the survey we had gathered.
The proposed project is visible from marketing, technical, management, financial and
socio-economic desirability. In the marketing point of view, the project is really feasible since
majority of the respondents are wiling to purchase papaya at MCM's plantation. In the
technical aspect, the project is feasible since the location has easy access because it is right
beside the main road and water just is available. In the management aspect the management
is feasible because the proponent will manage the operation daily in line with the organization
goals and objectives and hiring the best people that fit to every job description and
qualification. Financially the proposed project is feasible because the initial capital will be
recovered within one year, eight months and fourteen days. The proposed project will surely
benefit the entire organization. A reasonable returns on investment for the proponent and will
be generation and will be generation income for the locals.
