This study was conducted to determine the feasibility study of establishing
of Rural Bank in Canlaon City. Further elaboration on the major objectives of the
study includes the following: (1) To discover the feasibility of the proposal in
terms of its marketing, management, technical, financial, and socio-economic
aspects. (2) To discuss the probable advantages and disadvantages, financially
and non-financially of putting rural bank in Canlaon City. (3) To gain information
on the perception and preferences of the target market about the proposal. (4) To
help farmer and locals to expand their production through lending them some
amount of money to be used as their capitals and to improve their quality of life.
(5) To put up a financial institution in Canlaon City, which is the only city in the
Philippines that does not have a bank.
