It covers the following corecompetencies:(1) preparation of egg dishes;(2)preparation of starch-rich dishes; (3) preparation of vegetable dishes; (4) preparation ofseafood dishes; (5) preparation of stocks, soups, and sauces; and (6) preparation of meat dishes.The preliminaries of this explorator course include the following:(1)relevance of the course;(2)key conceps relative to the course; (3) career opportunities; and (4) basic practices inrelation to the course.<br/>Upon finishingthis course, the learner may merit the National Certificate Level II (NC II)upon passing the TESDA Qualification Standard Certificate Level (NC II) in Cookery.<br/>Through this course, it is hoped that the learners will be able to obtain the knowledge,skills,and attitude of the course; and if successful enough, gainful profitable employment within thefood industry. |
