SIM, BSHM-HRM IV<br/>FOUNDATION UNIVERSITY<br/>School:<br/>Dumaguete City<br/>March 15, 2016<br/>Date Completed:<br/>It was the the objective of the study is to determine the viability of establishing a<br/>Chocolate Bar at Hibbard Piapi, Dumaguete City. The specific areas that are<br/>considered in this study are the following: (1)The marketing easibility of the<br/>proposed project;(2) The technical feasibility of the proposed project; (3) The<br/>financial viability of the proposed project; (4) The appropriate management<br/>structure; and (5) The socio-economic practicality and acceptability of the proposed<br/>project. The name of the proposed project is Chocolandia Sweet Café.<br/>The researchers employed the deseriptive study and feasibility inquiry approach.<br/>The study made use of survey questionnaire as an instrument in data collection. A<br/>total of 300 respondents from locals of DumagueteCity using the random sampling<br/>method of collecting data. The prepared questionnaires were distributed to the<br/>respondents.<br/>The business has an appropriate management structure which is composed of 22<br/>employees. It is financially viable because the financial analysis and evaluation<br/>showed that it is profitable with 5 years, 8 months, 24 days payback period and ROI<br/>of 11.35% in the first year which increases every year. Finally, the business will<br/>generate employment in the city of Dumaguete, meet the needs and wants of the<br/>employees and residents of Dumaguete, and create additional income to the<br/>government.
