Field Study II is a continuation of Field Study I. It allows the student teachers toparticipate and assist in limited actual teaching-learning activities that relate to the assessmentof learning, preparation of instructional materials, and other routines in the classroom(CHEDMemorandum Order Nos. 74-80 & 82, series of 2017).
This textbook was conceptualized to prepare student teachers in designing and imple-menting effective lessons for the K-12 Curriculum. The lessons and activities in this textbookare designed to meet the demands and requirements of the new teacher education curriculumfollowing the Outcomes-Based Education paradigm prescribed by the Commission on HigherEducation (CHED). The textbook was also aligned to the new Professional Teacher Standardsin the Philippines.
As an instructional material, this textbook allows the student teachers to:
reflect on the different educational theories and principles;
observe classes and best teaching practices;
·interact with students;
evaluate instructional materials and assessment tools;and
analyze curriculum documents and analyze lessons.
